Teaching Philosophy
I believe education is fundamentally about empowering learners to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and become agents of change in their communities. As a teacher educator, I am committed to creating an inclusive, collaborative and intellectually stimulating learning space where students engage with ideas, develop critical reflection and take ownership of their learning.
My teaching is centred on supporting preservice teachers in developing disciplinary rigour, building innovative instructional methods, and cultivating their professional competencies. I strive to ensure that my students gain both disciplinary knowledge and the capacity to create equitable and dynamic classroom environments for their students. My classrooms are characterized by structured reflection, collaborative problem-solving, and peer support.
