HELLO WELCOME!
I am Martin Ako, a teacher educator and a PhD candidate at the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), McGill University, Montreal, Canada. I hold a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. I have over 10 years of experience teaching in Ghana and Canada, at both the elementary and post-secondary levels. I am also an FRQSC and an IDRC scholar. My current research examines how mathematics and science teachers collaborate to develop equitable pedagogical practices, integrate them into their lesson design, and implement them in their classrooms. Let's inspire the next generation together! .
